Rhodamine B labeled polyethylene glycol is a fluorescent PEG derivative that has a maximum absorption at 570 nm and emission around 595 nm. Rhodamine B can be easily traced from its pink color and red fluorescence. Additional functionality allows these fluorescent PEG derivatives to be easily conjμgated to other molecule or material surfaces.
