Coniferyl ferulate, a strong inhibitor of glutathione S-transferase (GST), reverses multidrug resistance and downregulates P-glycoprotein. Coniferyl ferulate shows strong inhibition of human placental GST with an IC₅₀ of 0.3 μM^[1].
