Description:

4 Arm norbornene PEG is one of Nanocs thiol-ene Click Chemistry reactive PEG derivatives that can be used for hydrogel synthesis, nanoparticle modification and new polymer synthesis. Norbornene is an excellent dienophile that can react with thiol group through thiol-ene Michael addition Click Chemistry reaction. It is also an ideal dienophile that can react rapidly and specifically with tetrazine through strain-promoted cycloaddition (1,2). Nanocs provides a number of norbornene functional PEGs that can react with various functional groups. Resulted norbornene group can be used to react with thiol or tetrazine rapidly  in aqueous solution.
