Thiol PEG NHS, HS-PEG-NHS

Description:

HS PEG NHS is one of Nanocs' amine reaction thiolated PEG derivatives that can be used to modify proteins, peptides, particles and other material surface. NHS reacts with primary amine group rapidly at alkaline pH to form a stable amide bonds. Resulted sulfhydryl group can be used for further chemical reactions.  PEGylation can increase solubility and stability and reduce immunogenicity of peptides and proteins. It can also suppress the non-specific binding of charged molecules to the modified surfaces. .

Physical Properties:

• Off-white/white solid or viscous liquid depends on molecule weight;
• Soluble in regular aqeous solution as well as most organic solvents;
• Reactive groups: Thiol and NHS;
• Reactive to: Primary amine group, gold surface and other thiol reactive groups.

Storage Conditions:

• Store at -20 ⁰C. Desiccate.  Avoid frequent thaw and freeze.
