Biotin lysozyme is one of Nanocs biotinylated lysozyme conjugates. Lysozymes are a family of catlytic enzymes which damage bacterial cell walls by catalyzing hydrolysis of 1,4-beta-linkages between N-acetylmuramic acid and N-acetyl-D-glucosamine residues. Lysozyme is also known as muramidase or N-acetylmuramide glycanhydrolase. Nanocs provides a variety of chemically functionalized and bioconjugated lysozyme with different functionality. These functional lysozyme products can be used for enzyme studies, bioassay development and many other biomedical research. Nanocs biotin labeled lysozyme has strong binding to avidin or streptavidin. All our biotin lysozyme conjugates were purified by size chromatography to remove non-conjugated molecules and ensure adequate applications both in-vitro and in-vivo.
