Description:
High capacity acyl-rac thiol capture,S3 Beads are one of Nanocs reactive agarose beads that can be used for reversible immobilization of biomolecules containing free thiol groups. S3TM thiol capture beads contain reactive pyridyl disulfide bonds that can react easily with free thiol groups under mild conditions. Reaction between thiol and pyridyl disulfide results a reversible dithio bond that can be cleaved by common dithio reducing agents such as DTT or TCEP. Compared to other thiol reactive beads, Nanocs S3TM Beads have exceptionally high thiol capture capacity; Density of thiol reactive groups on S3 beads is 20-30 times more over conventional thiol activated agarose beads. S3 beads can be used in many applications, such as acyl-RAC protein assays; Site-specific protein immobilizations; Protein purification, digestion and analysis. S3 beads are ideal replacements for commonly used activated Thiol-Sepharose 4B or Thiopropyl Sepharose 6B from GE.

Vitamin E OVA conjugate, is one of Nanocs bioactive Vitamin Ovalbumin conjugates that can be used for immunoassay development. Vitamin E, also called tocopherols, are a series (α, β, γ and δ) of chiral organic molecules that vary in their degree of methylation of the phenol moiety of the chromanol ring. Tocopherols are lipid soluble anti-oxidants that protect cell membranes from oxidative damage. Among them, α-Tocopherol, is the most biologically active vitamin E form. Vitamin E OVA conjugate from Nanocs was made from the convalent conjugation of α-Tocopherol to the lysine residues of OVA. This conjugate has been purified by size-exclusion chromatography to ensure its purity for adequate applications both in-vitro and in-vivo.

mPEG Desthiobiotin is one of Nanocs’ pegylated desthiobiotin PEG derivatives that is soluble in water. Desthiobiotin is a modified version of biotin. Compared to biotin, desthiobiotin binds to streptavidin, avidin and other biotin-binding proteins with lower affinity and it can be eluted from binding complex under much milder conditions (i.e., by competitive displacement with regular, free biotin). As such, desthiobiotin reagent is a useful alternative to Biotin for avidin-biotin techniques in which nondenaturing elution of the labeled proteins is desired. Pegylated desthiobiotin has good solubility and can be easily used in biotin/streptavidin assays and biomolecule purification process.

Description:
LC-SMCC, also called Long chain succinimidyl cyclohexane Maleimide, is one of Nanocs' amine and sulfhydryl reactive crosslinkers. This crossliner is non-cleavable and membrane permeable. It contains an amine reactive NHS ester and a sulfhydryl reactive maleimide group. Compared to other maleimide NHS ester, LC-SMCC has higher stability in aqueous solution because of its cyclohexane bridge. NHS esters react with primary amines at pH 7-9 while the maleimide group reacts with available thiol or sulfhydryl at pH 6.5~7.5 to form stable thioether bonds.

Biotin PEG400 NHS enables simple and efficient biotin labeling of proteins, antibodies or other amine containing molecules or particles.
