NHS activated Dextran
|
Similar names: Dextran NHS, Succinimidyl NHS Dextran
Description:
NHS activated dextran (Dextran-NHS) is one of Nanocs chemical reactive dextran products that can react with primary amine groups under alkaline pH. NHS reacts rapidly with primary amine group at pH 8-10 to form a stable amide bond. NHS activated dextran can thus react rapidly with proteins, peptides or small molecules.
Dextrans are naturally synthesized polysaccharides with good water solubility, low toxicity and varied molecular weights. Dextrans modified with dyes and other biomolecules have been successfully used as long-term tracers for live cells. Nanocs also provides customized dextran products for your special needs.
Nanocs provides a variety of chemically functionalized and bioconjugated dextran products with molecular weight ranged from 3,000 Da to 2,000 KDa. These functional dextrans were purified by size-exclusion chromatography to remove non-conjugated molecules and ensure adequate applications both in-vitro and in-vivo.
