Palmitic acid fluorescein is one of SLT's fatty acid lipid fluorescein conjugates that is highly hydrophobic. Palmtic acid is a saturated C16 fatty acid that can interact well with hydrophobic cell membrane or lysome membrane. Fluorescein modified palmitic acid has strong green fluorescence with exitation/emission at 494 nm/515 nm. Palmitic acid-fluorescein thus can be an excellent membrane imaging agent.

The reaction of tetrazine and TCO is a bioorthogaonal reaction that enables the conjugation of two molecules in aqueous solution fast and efficiently. Tetrazine PEG derivatives have excellent water solubility, possess fast kinetics and stability in aqueous buffer. Product Description:

Fluorescein labeled Proteinase K is one of Nanocs’ fluorescent Proteinase K conjugates. Proteinase K is a highly reactive nonspecific serine protease that is capable of inactivating RNases and DNases and is used in the isolation or preparation of high molecular weight nucleic acids. Proteinase K is also useful for helping to characterize enzymes, due to its cleavage specificity. Proteinase K is stable in a wide variety of detergents and buffer salts and at various temperatures and pH. The isoelectric point of proteinase K is 8.9. Nanocs provides a number of fluorescent labeled Proteinase K products that span from UV region to near IR. These fluorescent Proteinase K conjugates can be used for enzyme studies, bioassay development and many other biomedical research. Nanocs Fluorescein labeled Proteinase K, FITC Proteinase K is a green fluorescent Proteinase K conjugate that has excitation/emission wavelength at 490/520 nm. This fluorescein Proteinase K can be easily detected by fluorescent instruments in FITC channel. All our fluorescent Proteinase K conjugates were purified by size chromatography to remove non-conjugated molecules and ensure adequate applications both in-vitro and in-vivo.

Description:

DBCO (Dibenzocyclooctyne) is a cycloalkyne that can reacts with azides via strain-promoted 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition in aqueous solution, a bioorthogonal reaction also termed Cu-free click reaction.  This reaction has excellent selectivity and biocompatibility, such that the complimentary reagents can form covalent bonds with richly functionalized biological systems. The Cu-free click reaction has been a powerful tool in catalyst-free bioconjugation. DBCO reagents posses fast kinetcs and stability in aqueous buffer and they can be used to label azide-modified biomolecules with high specificity and reactivity.

  • Soluble in DMSO or DMF;

Copper-free Click Reaction Procedures:

Prepare the azide-containing sample in reaction buffer. Add DBCO conjugate to azide containing sample. Recommendation: Add 1 mole equivalent of limiting reagent to 1.5-3.0 mole equivalents of highest abundance reagent. Incubate the reaction at room temperature for 2-4 hours or 2-12 hours at 4 degree celcius. The reaction is now ready for purification.
