Valuable time can be taken up mixing bottles and flasks by hand. Let the SF1 take the strain. Holding up to eight flasks or bottles, up to 500ml capacity, it creates a vigorous mixing action by simulating hand shaking. It is especially useful for applications where prolonged shaking is required as it can be left on continuously and won't get tired!

Robust construction, mounted on four rubber feet to absorb vibration and prevent unnecessary movement on the bench. Analogue timer covers 10 to 60 minutes with a manual override. Electronic feed-back control ensures a constant speed irrespective of load.

Supplied with two side arms, eight clamps and Allen key. An optional extension kit is available, catalogue number SF1/2 which consists of two extension arms and four extra clamps. It increases the capacity to twelve bottles or flasks.

SF1126 is an RGDS-conjugated LY294002 prodrug, which is designed to exhibit increased solubility and bind to specific integrins within the tumor compartment. SF1126 induces cell apoptosis[1].

SF1126 (0-6 µM; 48 hours) inhibits Hep3B, HepG2, SK-Hep1, and Huh7 cells proliferation with IC50s of 5.05, 6.89, 3.14, and 2.14 µM, respectively[1].
SF1126 (1-10 µM; 24 hours) results in cell-cycle arrest with a proportional increase in G0-G1 and a decrease in the number of cells in the S-phase in Hep 3B, Hep G2, SK-Hep1, and Huh7 cells[1].
SF1126 (0.5-2.5 µM; pre-30 minutes) and sorafenib suggests that combined treatment of SF1126 and sorafenib blocks multiple key enzymes in PI3K/AKT/mTOR and Ras/Raf/MAPK pathway[1].

SF2523 treatment decreases protein levels of MYCN and Cyclin D1, the MYCN target, and inhibits AKT activation by blocking phosphorylation of AKT at Ser473. SF2523 treatment leads to the displacement of BRD4 from both MYCN promoter sites. SF2523 interacts robustly with the full-length BRD4 (Kd=140 nM) and exhibits comparable affinity to the BRD4 first BD (BD1) (Kd=150 nM), however it binds more weakly to the second BD (BD2) of BRD4 (Kd=710 nM). Comparison of binding affinities of SF2523 for BDs of other proteins reveal that it binds equally well to BDs of BRD4, BRD2, and BRD3; shows moderate binding to BDs of CECR2 and BRDT; but associates much weaker with other BDs[2].

SF2523 treatment results in a significant reduction of tumor volume compared with control. Importantly, SF2523 shows no gross toxicity to the treated mice, as there is no notable change in body weight. Tumors from SF2523-treated mice have markedly reduced MYCN, pAKT, and Cyclin D1 levels compared with levels of these proteins in vehicle-treated mice tumors[2].

SF1670 is a specific PTEN inhibitor with prolonged intracellular retention in neutrophils. SF1670 enhances PtdIns(3,4,5)P3 signaling in transplanted neutrophils. SF1670 also elevates Akt phosphorylation in murine cells. Consistent with the enhanced Akt phosphorylation, pretreatment with SF1670 also significantly augments PtdIns(3,4,5)P3 level in mouse neutrophils. SF1670-induced Akt hyperactivation is abolished in PTEN-null neutrophils, further demonstrating that this effect is mediated by specific inhibition of PTEN activity. At 500 nM fMLP stimulation, SF1670 (500 nM)–pretreated neutrophils show nearly 70% higher (maximal) superoxide production than untreated neutrophils[1]. HCT116 cells are pre-treated with the PTEN inhibitor SF1670 (2 μM) for 24 h (untreated HCT116 cells served as control); treated cells are subsequently plated under non-adherent conditions with added MET (60 μM), Lun (2 μM), or Gen (2 μM). SF1670 binds to the PTEN active site, resulting in elevated phosphatidylinositol (3,4,5) triphosphate signaling[2].

In addition, SFTM fluorophores offer diversified chemically reactive and/or biologically active moieties that can be used directly for labeling, imaging and detecting of various molecules and particles.
